The most important developmental period for individuals is the early years. It is pertinent to shift our focus in the society towards delivering excellent early years services. The government must lead in ensuring we groom competent EY Practitioners. The Bee trained about 500 Early Years Teachers for the Oyo State Government in 2010. The above picture was taken during one of the practical sessions, demonstrating how an EY practitioner can support play in an EY setting.

Early years experience contribute greatly to later life and should therefore not be taken for granted. It’s good to know that the government is partnering with the private sector to train Early Years practitioners in Nigeria. Well done bcbeewoman for the initiative.
